⚙️ Cascading Call Flow (CCF) Support for Serials
PrologMobile’s Cascading Call Flows can be configured to accept serial numbers, including the preconfigured High Volume Flow (Service #3000). This allows users to run multiple checks in sequence using only a serial number via:
- UI Input
- API Integration
We can also tailor custom CCFs to optimize workflows for specific client needs — including WiFi-only device detection, model normalization, or serial-to-IMEI mapping when needed.
🛑 Limitations: GSMA Blocklist
The GSMA blocklist requires an IMEI and does not support non-cellular (serial-only) devices. Any checks for stolen or blacklisted status must be performed on devices with IMEIs.
📬 Recommended Workflow
- Input Serial Number through UI or API.
- Use Apple OEM, Samsung OEM, or MacBook Identification service based on device type.
- Optionally, run through Cascading Call Flow 3000 for bundled data return.
- If needed, contact support for custom CCF logic or use-case optimization.
🧠 Example Use Cases
- Validating WiFi-only iPads for trade-in or insurance claims.
- Checking FMIP/MDM lock status on MacBooks prior to resale.
- Identifying configuration and warranty status for refurbished inventory.
- Automating workflows where only serial numbers are available.
